I'm a software engineer with a growing obsession with AI — not just as a user, but as someone building with it and thinking hard about what it means for our craft.

I work on [your role / company here]. Most of my day involves [what you do]. Lately, a lot of that involves AI — whether it's using Claude to write and review code, building agent-based systems, or just trying to understand what's actually useful versus hype.

Why this blog

I started writing here because I wanted a place to think in public. The AI space moves fast, and most takes are either too shallow ("AI will do everything") or too dismissive ("it's just autocomplete"). I'm trying to write the kind of thing I'd want to read — honest, specific, based on what I've actually built and used.
